Description:
TAA-compliant strip-cut shredder provides high-performance commercial shredding. The Jam Proof System eliminates paper jams and powers through tough jobs. The patented SafeSense Technology stops shredding when hands touch the paper opening. Energy Savings System reduces energy consumption by up to 70 percent, compared to conventional commercial shredders during normal usage. The Jam Proof Strip-Cut 485i also features an extra-wide 16" paper entry. The continuous-duty motor offers nonstop shredding for 10 or more users. Shredder shreds 38 sheets per pass into 1/4" strip-cut particles (Security Level 2) and catches them in a 35-gallon bin. Durable cutters also shred staples, credit cards, paper clips and CDs/DVDs.
