Description:
DVD+R double layer discs allow you to record 4 hours of DVD-quality video or 16 hours of VHS-quality video, without the need to turn over the disc. Archive up to 8.5GB of computer files on a single disc (almost doubles the storage capacity compared with the 4.7GB for single-layer DVD+R discs available. Offers 2.4X speed. Use with Double-Layer enabled DVD burner. Compatible with most DVD players. Ideal for storing presentations, home videos or photos; movie making (creating prototypes); archiving large video or data files; video authoring and mastering; CD-quality music compilations; backing up computer hard drives. Provides nearly twice the capacity of conventional DVD discs by using two thin embedded organic dye films, which are separated by a semi-reflective layer and a spacer layer. Focused laser beam's heat causes irreversible change in the physical and chemical structure of each layer. New optical structure provides the right reflectivity for a sharp read out signal of the disc.
