Patented SafeSense Technology, a built-in safety feature, stops the shredder immediately when hands touch the paper opening. Shredder shreds up to 9 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 2" cross-cut particles (Security Level 3). Equipped with an 8-3/4" wide paper entry, P-58Cs Shredder easily accepts letter-size or legal-size documents. Durable steel cutters also shred credit cards, staples, and paper clips. Maximum runtime is three to five minutes on and 15 minutes off. Electronic auto start/stop feature ensures quick, easy shredder operation. Easy-to-empty, 5-gallon wastebasket features a liftoff head. Sound level is 70 decibels. Powershred P-58Cs Shredder is made of plastic and metal.
