Description:
With a continuous-duty motor, this professional, cross-cut shredder is ideal for small busy offices. Shred paper, staples, paper clips and credit cards. Shred 14 sheets of 20 lb. paper at 18' per minute into 1/8" x 1-1/8" cross-cut pieces (security level 3). Two solid steel, cutting cylinders are subject to practically no wear and no sharpening and are made with a laser-cut and special heat-treating process for a more precise cut. Patented, V-TEK cutting-groove technology creates higher cutting capacity with lower power requirements. WhisperShred Technology reduces decibel levels so you experience a low noise level (59 decibels) whether running idle or shredding paper. Totally enclosed gear box helps reduce noise and prevents failure from dust and debris getting into the gears. Cross-cut shredder also offers a 9-1/2" throat, automatic start/stop control via electronic eye, safety element above paper intake and a 13 gallon waste bin that includes a reusable collecting bag.
