Description:
DAT 72 Storage Media Kit provides a complete DAT 72 media solution to improper storage, improper transport and infrequent tape drive cleaning. Each kit contains 14 DAT 72 Cartridges, one DDS Cleaning Cartridge, one media case, colored labels, and a backup guide. High-capacity DAT 72 data cartridge offers a 72GB (170m) capacity. Narrower tracks increase data density so each cartridge holds 80 percent more than a DDS-4 tape. Cleaning Cartridge offers 50 cleanings and is designed for all drives except DAT 160. Labels minimize the chance of the wrong tape being inserted into the drive. Each molded case has double walls to protect media against thermal shock while the molded dividers cradle each piece individually. Metal latches ensure a tight seal. Multiple cases can be stacked on top of each other to save space and each case can be locked (lock not included).
