Description:
Document shredder offers quiet shredding of tax documents, bank statements, medical bills, and more. With WhisperShred Technology, the entire Shredstar S10SC including the cutting system is engineered to reduce decibel levels when running. With a 60 decibel range, the noise level is low whether running idle or shredding paper. The totally enclosed gear box helps reduce noise and prevents failure from dust and debris getting into the gears. Strip-cut shredder shreds 10 to 13 sheets of 20 lb. paper into 1/4" strips per pass as well as staples and paper clips. Shred speed is 19-3/5' per minute. Shredder also features Security Level 2, 8-3/5" wide throat and 4.2 gallon waste capacity.
